Hemp Field

"This is a rather interesting photograph for a couple of reasons. First, it's a photograph of a now elicit subject, a field of marijuana being grown in the Ural mountains in 1910 for hemp fiber. But even more interesting is that it represents some of the first color photography ever done, a result of the invention of panchromatic film in 1906. The photographer was Sergei Mikhailovich, 1863-1944, and the un-translated title is "Konoplianoe pole".

Reverend Ethier of North Bay Ontario and I have been investigating the possibility of having certain regions of North Bay (abandoned farms that went under) for use as hemp fields and have requested many of the farmers in that area to join in our request to the Government. We have also approached one of Canada's Billionaires to fund an industrial complex for the extraction of fuel and other commodities. As soon as we have his agreement in writing we will be applying for the proper licence under Canadaian Corporation Law that will allow us to do the same in every province of Canada. Under our present calculation and utilizing only those farms of similar consequence we have established that we could, after 6 months, supply in excess of the fuel requiremnets for Canada. Subsequent to this time span we could supply on a monthly basis the same required amount. This in addition to paper and clothing material, edible seeds, cooking oil and other health additives. Rev. Ethier has an abundance of material that though unable to make public at this point in time , will soon be available.

As a fairly avid photographer, I am awed and inspired by this historical gem. Sigh...

In Canada, Prohibition is actually illegal here, as it is contrary to our Guaranteed rights and freedoms under the Constitution Act. We need to get prohibition repealed, but so many are employed in enforcement, incarceration, and the legal and social system, that there is a huge vested interest in maintaining the Status Quo. Although these types of employment consume the GDP, they add nothing to it, just shuffle around values created by others, including, ironically, the very marijuana producers they oppose. Commercialization of the industry is necessary to create jobs and rebuild the economy. Not some Big Tobacco like monstrosity, but licenced growers in a cottage industry, each distributing their brand through beer stores and liquor stores to avoid sales to minors. We can eliminate every argument against legal marijuana, as long as we tell the truth, are reasonable, patient, persistent, and far more gracious that the prohibitionists. We must break it to them that we have already won!

Conflict, itself is the enemy. Freedom of every individual to believe and practice whatever doesn't harm anyone else must become universal.

Hello, My Friends I'm always glad when I find new Hemp Activist groups working for the highest cause of them all, have bin working on spreading the word about "Hemp Oil" (Not Hemp Seed Oil though its the best) but Oil extracted from the "Bud" for Curing every type of Cancer and over 100 other illnesses and imbalances of the body. The Fact is that as we speak, thousands of people is getting 100% Cured, all over the world, by eating the Oil or applying it on their Skin Cancer (It takes about 7 days and it's completely gone!) other Censers take about 30-90 days and even terminal patients are terminal No More... I know that this is not quite your topic, but I just wanted to shear how wonderful plant this is, as you didn't know :-) but for some it's news, and I want to give some pointers about some of the best Hemp information I have come across on the net.
For example the best book I have read about the subject called: "The Emperor Wears No Clothes" by Jack Herer - http://www.jackherer.com/index.html

You can read it directly on the site + tons of other info about Hemp, I think the most complete Documentary on Hemp's History

And "RUN FROM THE CURE" by Rick Simpson amazing story about the Healing power of this new Hemp Oil commonly called "Rick Simpson Oil"
You can find that on:
http://phoenixtears.ca/

fantastic site, No Incurable Diseases any more... and then at last, but not least, Site with tons of article recommendations about Hemps history called "Bibliography" :

http://electricemperor.com/eecdrom/HTML/EMP/AA/ECH27.HTM

Now, My view about Hemp Biofuel, that is the single best thing that (could) WILL happen to this world!

As it says, only 6% of the USA Acerridge is needed to Fuel all engines in the country plus all the other useful stuff you can make of it- not talking about the environmental benefits, like Carbon Dioxide the Hemp Plants thrive on it, like youngster on sweets Sather day evening in front of the TV, or holes in the Ozone layer, yummy… and while the Hemp Plant gobbles up all the BAD stuff, it breaths out new fresh air (Oxygen) in to the atmosphere, and there is more, if this were dun in grand scale World wide, the atmospheric capacity would mach the Amazonas forests in Oxygen provision… Something to think about for our Politicians - POWER TO THE PEOPLE!! Thanks and good luck with your struggle, if I can be at any help, Please let me know. My very best greetings to you all, JB

Illicit? Not elicit.

I'd just like to say that is actually weed and the title that aint been translated needs to be translated properly. When growing for fibre you do not grow buds that big!!!

Fields like this, as written about by Allen in his 1900 book Reign of Law, used to be commonplace in the US - and they can be again - lots of activism in place from grassroots to US Presidential candidates - and they are now working to get a petition to Obama - anyone can sign - it's up at www.minawear.com/about-us/
Also check out www.hempforvictory.blogspot.com for more info and events!

Nothing in the picture resembled cannabis grown for buds. When you are growing for buds you don't plant them that close together. Before you say something know what you're talking about first.

How are you doing in your quest to bring hemp to E. Africa?

I feel like this is a common question. As long as it’s below .3% THC, you should be good. At least, that’s my understanding. It’s an issue that gets kicked around all the time and many people don’t know the specifics. The process of buying hemp flower shouldn’t be this hard. Like,Hemp Products I order my hemp from CBD Flower USA and I hope I don’t have any trouble getting it. Ugh, laws need to change! And fast!
